Early-Stage Researcher
Igor was born and educated in Skierniewice, Poland. In 2013 he started his Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw. He joined the Department of Cytology a year later, where he took part in a project aiming at discovering the role of Pax7 protein in differentiating stem cells during skeletal muscle regeneration. As part of his studies, he also completed internships at the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience of the University of Cambridge and at Mossakowski Medical Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Science. After graduating in 2018, Igor will work on his PhD project under the supervision of Dr Dimitris Xirodimas.
